Right from the first sound you hear, to the last note - this album will transport you to a natural place. I cannot put into words how this album has been such a huge help. It’s like a friend now - like someone who is always there. An amazing album that everyone should own. Thanks so much, Robert. darkstarr666

...transmuting through gorgeously heartwarming mirages into blissful all-embracing sonic euphoria. It happens again and again with each spin, I am drifting through the emotionally magnified sonic Eden into the resonant silence with goosebumps on my arms...
Recorded in the remembrance of lost loved ones, "The Passing" dives into the most intense, yet nectarously sumptuous, harmoniously gratifying and luminously eulogistic zones of heart-rending contemplations ever sculpted by Steve Roach!!! Richard Gürtler
Hypnotic ambient and drone music crests in the second track, which clocks in at a whopping 46 minutes. Mesmerizing from start to finish. Bandcamp New & Notable Jun 25, 2023
A gorgeous woodwind/electronics collaboration from Micah Frank, Chet Doxas, and friends that celebrates the work of Hildegard von Bingen. Bandcamp New & Notable Nov 22, 2022
The final collaboration between Chris Child (Kodomo) and sound artist Micah Frank is full of contemplative noise and emotional charge. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2022

You can listen to this as a pleasant wash of background music while you work; as beautiful and as meaningless as sunlight on a painted wall. Or you can focus on it and realise that actually there's a lot going on in the texture and detail of the sound. Steve Roach has made a lot of longform ambient, all of them well worth listening to, but this is one of the very best. A gem from a gem. Wylfryd Smythe
