The Future of Man

Liquid Faith One of Duff Egan's more elaborate and moody albums. In a way it's the perfect place to start if your looking to discover his music. Emotionally it goes from light, soft, elegant to very dark, almost mechanical, changing constantly through the whole album. Like many of his works it surprised me. It turned out to be not what I thought it would be. An emotional work moving from desolate to joy and dreams it's way into it's own future. DE is a vastly underrated artist. Great work Duff! Favorite track: natures symphony in decline.

Steve Lake I cannot pick a favorite track as it is much better as a whole and not to be 'picked apart'. Richard Gürtler was exact when describing Duff Egan's music, it is excellent in so many ways.

Richard Gürtler 120-minute "The Future Of Man" 2CD is without any doubt a superb release, both aurally and visually, and a must-have for all purveyors of profoundly complex, deliberately executed, massively immersing, subterrestrially nebulous, yet eargasmically chromatic dronecarving. It's quite evident, Duff Egan is a highly crafted and prolific soundsculptor, who is quickly becoming an US dronescaping powerhouse.
Brian Bourassa

Brian Bourassa Inadvertently I had the volume set quite low for my headphones. So what I was hearing was audio on the edge of perception (subliminal), where my brain and the music meet on equal terms. The journey that takes place under these conditions is wonderful and can double as an aid to meditative practices.

This truly is a fantastic work by DE, some of his best work to date. Favorite track: endangered quiet beauty.

spieltrieb The latest evidence of Duff’s consolidation of a new stage of evolution in his creative and spiritual trajectory. Favorite track: the quiet path.

"Life, and most particularly the extreme point of Life represented by Mankind, is not simply a state. It is on the contrary, a vast directed movement, bound up with the very structure of the Cosmogenesis. It has a "thread" which cannot be suppressed, and which must continue to show itself, in no way impaired, but respected, utilized and expressed, until it reaches the highest, most conscious forms of its development."

- Pierre Teilhard de Chardin
