spieltrieb The reference to Jung in the title of this new work by Duff Egan points to a shared concern for the cultivation of a vertical or depth perspective on everyday experience. This is Duff's best effort yet at sharing with us his moments of access to that deeper world. Favorite track: Recreation Center.

Brian Bourassa A drone is like a solid coat (color) of paint on the canvas, providing a backdrop/mood for the listener where there can be textures and nuances unlike other drones that give it its own personality.

Here, a bit more paint on the canvas brings out contrasts & juxtapositions - essentially adding layers of communication.

There are hints of drifting narratives that provide a gentle guiding of energy that add anchors by which one can observe the transitions of moments, one to the next.

In.Visible.Generator Duff Egans new release sounds highly transparent. It gives me a feeling of shimmering and reflecting structures. Sometimes with some more dark vibrations, but at every time with an fragile metallic taste.

It feels also like the most careful and quality production of his work. An indispensable piece in everyone´s ambient collection. Favorite track: Woman in the Sun.
